Three Generations of Birds Fans
More sportsball content, I know, but humor me. Last night, I got to watch my favorite football team win its second Super Bowl in seven years with my son, wife, brother, and father in the room with me. It's a cliche at this point, but Eagles football is a family affair. After the Super Bowl in 2018, my dad, wife and I stood in my kitchen and we toasted to my grandfather who died before he could ever see an Eagles Super Bowl win. Last night, the five of us stood around in my kitchen, and we acknowledged that there were three generations of us in that room, united by our love of some guys wearing green laundry, and we celebrated together. No matter what happens going forwards, we have this moment in time together, united in joy.
