Time to finish up here.

Write.as isn’t really doing it for me. It prioritises things (e.g. federation) that I’m not that fussed about and doesn’t do a wonderful job (e.g. writing experience, navigation) that I do value. If using a custom domain was a free feature I’d keep this running, but frustratingly it is. This is true for most services, which is a shame.

So at some point, I’ll export my posts from Write.as and integrate them with anglepoised.com, then set up some redirects on this domain.

I think I’ve got what I needed out of this, though: I’ve managed to start posting again, without having to deal with the only very slightly more visible aspects of my main blog.
