More facegram/instabook thoughts

Do I just delete them all anyway in spite of my reservations on staying connected with people, with my supposed photographic audience?

I am tempted to say yes, and just do it anyway. Almost none of them buy images from seeing them there, it is usually someone I see in person at an event anyway, even if they use the messaging on those platforms to order a print or canvas or whatever.

I have now set up a website at swansinflight.nz and people can grab images from there. Yes it loses the personal touch of talking to the person etc, but may open other doors due to ease of use. Hopefully.
There’s only a couple of recent small events uploaded there so far, but of course more will be added in time.
I’ll put up some landscapes too, I have a few ncie ones now.

Maybe I’ll leave the pages on the aforementioned platforms up, as I thought; people expect to find them, and at least can use the About info there to find me. The last time I disabled my account to try it out, 2 people couldnt get hold of me regarding motorsport photos and I put it back up within 4 days.

Maybe I should not have set that expectation of being there…

As someone said “You can’t just have a little crack. You’re either all in, or not at all.”
Something like that anyway. We’ll see.
