Behaviorists are very lame because they find out arrogance is bad but they can't tell you what humility is. Ask them again, and they would probably describe a set of behaviors their parents taught them 20 years ago.
Pleasant people don't need to have a sticky note in their mind “Be humble!”. If
you have a relatively healthy sense of self, it shouldn't be too hard to accept new information and adjust your worldview accordingly. For a normal disagreement is not a threat to your own value.
People who are obsessed over their humbleness are often critical of others as well. But they only look at people through the set of behaviors they learned from their parents or from the books they read while ignoring the individual themselves.
