Ugly “Rationalist” logic:
Reality: Billionaires has so much money. I have only this much. I will never be a billionaire. So jealousy is pointless. I can't change reality.
Rationalization: actually billionaires creates many jobs. Some of them even use the money for innovation. Some of them are even down to earth. Those are all net positive to the society. Whoever don't see that and still feel jealous because they can't rationalize as much is because they are low IQ.
Reality: home owners have houses. I don't. I can have a house only if it's half cheaper. Reality can be changed.
Rationalization and moralization: Homeowners are morally corrupt for not downsizing when they are old. This is totally scientific and economically appropriate. And not at all jealousy.
