With this logic, you shouldn't import retail goods and resell with markup either. That would save some jobs for your local farmers and artisans.

So instead of being an adult, and say: “This policy that used to work for us now works against us. We should change it so that would benefit us better.”

They flip it to say that they never had greed in the first place. That's why I called them the socialists of the right. Where they don't have exceptional talent to be grandiose about and have to rely on “integrity” as communal narcissism. And they are about as fake as the leftist dude they talk to.
