Hello, I'm Mukund Vijayaraghavan. Here you will find fun in-depth essays or research on focused subjects, one at a time.

Resources on Information Disorder

These are all the resources I came across when researching information disorder (dis, mis, and mal information). Information disorder is a modern pandemic, and a particularly dangerous and worrisome one at that. It has been superlatively amplified by the Internet and the huge reach that it provides. It is high time (some might argue that it is in fact too late) that the world wakes up to the rapid and repeated distortion of truth everywhere. This is not an organized compilation; it was done in haste a long time back across my searches on the Internet, when I was working towards a (still-in-progress) project. I plan on publishing an explanatory piece on this phenomenon as a whole much later.

Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it, so that when men come to be undeceived, it is too late; the jest is over, and the tale hath had its effect.

— Jonathan Swift
