You’ve been places
where you weren’t appreciated
but you stayed anyway
because you had nowhere else

You’ve been places
where you were cast out
and you were scared
because you didn’t know what to do

You’ve been places
where you were another face
and you stayed quietly
because you wanted to belong

Now you’ve found a place
where you can be loved
so I hope you stay
and let yourself be yourself
