I do love it when we smile together
When we radiate joy
that soon becomes contagious

I'm not just here for the excitement
It is such a thrill to be with you
When I'm with you
my heart is full to bursting

I'm also here for the bad times
When life won't cut you a break
When you're drowning in sorrow
Swept away by a river of tears

Because you see that's what love is
It's being there for the good and the bad
