Back to Those Days
It’s been a long time
since I put you away
and thought I’d never see you again
but I unpacked you today
You were covered in dust
I’d forgotten some of your names
but you all made me smile
as I remembered our old games
We played so many times before
long ago, when I was small
we can play again now
even though I’m quite tall
Although my life goes on
every now and then, I can look at you
And go back to those days
when life wasn’t so blue
