To be close to you
To feel you next to me
Brings me the warmth and light
of a star burning brightly

To be together with you
To hear your soft breathing
Makes the terrors of this world
all seem so fleeting

To hold you in my arms
To feel our hearts beating together
Drives away the storms of life
and returns beautiful weather

We can’t always be close
It’s sad, but it’s true
So I’ll wait and I’ll dream
of when once again, I can be close to you
