Through all of life’s hardships
through loss, pain, and heartbreak
Do your best to be your best
even when your heart and soul ache
Life will test and try you
It will rarely be so easy

even when the world stops being light and breezy
There will always be times
when you’re pushed, shoved, knocked flat
But always do your best to be your best
even when it feels like no one has your back
Some days, you will fall far
you’ll lie down and start to cry
But when you do your best to be your best
You’ll discover that you can still fly
