There are moments
when you weren’t your best
when you made a mistake
when you hurt someone special

You said the wrong thing
Forgot someone else’s feelings
Laughed when someone else
was hurting on the outside

But you know it was wrong
It was only a mistake
You didn’t mean to
And you’re trying to get better

That’s all in the past
It can only hurt you now
if you let it
So it’s okay to let go
