Forgive Yourself
When you mess up
When you let yourself down
The hardest thing to do
is to move on
When a mistake haunts you
When it replays over and over
The hardest thing to do
is to let it go
When you hurt someone you love
When you hurt yourself
The hardest thing to do
is to forgive yourself
If you look deep inside yourself
past the pain, the guilt, the shame
You can find it in you
to say “I forgive you”
