I keep my scars hidden
Because I don’t want the world to know
But if everyone does that
then everyone will be alone

So bit by bit I uncover them
Bring them into the light
To show everyone
that they aren’t alone in this fight

You don’t have to hide the pain
There are safe people here
It’s alright to cry out
To show your anguish and fear

No matter what scars you bear
No matter how you feel
We can sit down together
and help one another to heal
