I know you think I don’t know you
That the version I see is a lie
That you can never change or grow
No matter how hard you try

You remember your mistakes
They consumed you long ago
Even though you’re trying to be better
Looking for light that you can show

Yet still, you live in fear
That despite all the good you’ve done
It would only take a single mistake
For it to all become undone

But I love you right now
And no matter what happens or what you do
I will still love you tomorrow
