I know you don’t always think
that you’re all that much
that you’re something special
you don’t see yourself as such

But I see more in you
I won’t criticize or critique
Because I know the truth
that you are completely unique

You make the sun shine
and stormy skies turn blue
just by being here
and just by being you

So I hope you’ll stay
for a moment, for a while
because you being you
always makes me smile
