My Doctor
In the worst of times
you helped me to smile
Even when I held pain inside
I could forget it for a while
When I was consumed by misery
you showed me a better way
We suffered together
but always looked to a new day
We ran together
across time and space
I looked forward to our adventures
With you, I always found a safe space
I’ll never forget you
To me, you’re more than just a character
You are my companion
My friend, my Doctor
