Never Stop Trying
Sometimes, people let you down
They make a bad choice
They change into someone they weren’t
They slip back into old habits
Sometimes, someone lives in a dream for so long
That when reality hits them,
it runs them over
and they see someone they don’t recognize
Sometimes, worst of all
that person that let you down
that person you don’t recognize
is you
But it’s okay
It’s okay to disappoint yourself
It’s okay to let yourself down
It’s okay to fail
So long as you never stop trying
