Proud of You

When I started on this journey
it was tough and it was scary
Venturing into the unknown
Suddenly left stranded and alone
But we trudged on together
We made mistakes, we learned to be better
No matter what happens or what you do
I’m still so proud of you

I promise to always accept you
Through good and bad, old and new
Sometimes you shout, sometimes you scream
But things are never as bad as they seem
I’ve seen you at your best, so I know
that there will always be good in you to show
That’s why I believe this, I do:
I will always be proud of you
