Remembering a Bright Glow
A flame went out
A guiding light to millions
One that had burned
where few like it had burned before
Stories of the fire
carried on the wind
Whispers of glory
telling of humble beginnings
Of the fire that allowed blind men
to see what they were missing
illuminating the problems
infesting this small world
It still glows in our hearts
Though it's gone from this world
So let us all take a moment
and remember its bright glow
