The Love in Me
There’s so much love in me
and I finally have a chance to share
all these feelings inside
There are finally people who care
They don’t always understand me
but they listen and give me a chance
They spare me all the time I ask
and offer more than a passing glance
When I open up and express myself
Offering them all some of my light
They respond with light of their own
And together, we make the world bright
I’m finally safe from the storm
I can see the sun so clearly
Now that I have the chance
to express all the love in me
