There For Me
We haven't always gotten along
There were times I shouted and screamed
Times that I left you disappointed
Or when I said things I didn't mean
After all that, you've been there for me
Standing by me when no one else would
Offering me a home to return to
Loving me when I thought no one could
I've taken you for granted for so long
Never realizing just how lucky I was
Until I met other people, made miserable
A lack of guidance and love the cause
You've always been there for me
Through the good times and bad
So I love you more than the world
