When I cry
I don't need you to fix it
I don't need to be told what to do
I don't need someone to make it about them
When I cry
I know I'll be okay
I know healing takes time
I know all will be well
When I cry
I need a hug
I need to be told it's okay
I need to be heard
When I cry
I need to feel safe
If I don't feel that around you
I'll find someone else
And cry with them
