When You Need a Friend
When life is crashing down
and the world’s a whirlwind
sometimes, all you need to carry on
is a friend by your side
When fear is everywhere
when the darkness closes in
sometimes, all you need to get through it
is the guiding light of a friend
When all you know is in chaos
torn to shreds, ruined
sometimes, the only way to move on
is with a friend by your side
When everything has gone wrong
and you only want something to go right
when you need a friend
I’ll be there by your side
