Who You Really Are

It’ll take days, months, years
To search and discover who you are
You may find out in your backyard
Or you may have to travel quite far

When you finally figure it out
Many people may disagree
They’ll tell you that you’re wrong
That that isn’t who you’re supposed to be

But no one else in the whole world
Has exactly your life or your voice
Other people don’t know the real you
The person you are isn’t their choice

Always remember that you are beautiful
one in a million, a golden star
so please don’t let anyone stop you
from being who you really are
