Do you have to ask yourself
if they’re only being polite
that they think you’re annoying?

When people make plans with you
Do you have to ask yourself
if they would rather be alone
that they think you’re a burden?

When people complement you
Do you have to ask yourself
if they don’t really mean it
that they think you’re horrible?

I don’t want to ask myself
