I have an Orange Pi 800. The OS is Orange Pi OS, a Raspbian derivative. The are different OS's for it – Orange Pi Droid, Orange Pi Arch, etc. I like Orange Pi Droid, because it is basically Android/Chrome OS in a desktop environment. Arch, I have not tried. I was able to download OP Droid onto the MacBook, but putting it on an SD didn't take, because it was/is formatted for FAT format. I must reformat the SD before I can boot from it, right from the SD reader into the OS. eMMC storage is an option with further commands.
