This week was really hard. Dogs help.

This quote from the late Robin Williams really helped too:

“You will have bad times, but they will always wake you up to the stuff you weren't paying attention to.”

As I head into this weekend, here’s what my mind is thinking about:

• I looking forward to reading about others, like Tchaikovsky and Lincoln, who share openly their grief and depression.
• This HIV Vaccine would be world-altering.
• I am planning to reread this piece on the McNamara Fallacy, cause once wasn’t enough. This quote stood out the first time through:

Just because we can measure something doesn't mean we understand it, and just because we have measurements doesn't mean we've measured every influential variable.

• I still think about this. A lot.
