O' Christmas Tree

R. purchased a live tree for me as a gift! It is the tiniest, most exquisite little (Christmas) tree I've ever seen, and strangely it makes me feel hopeful about the future.

I hope to keep it alive in the years to come.
I hope to see it grow.
I hope to keep it healthy and strong.

I hope.
I hope.

I hope that someday, when I own a nice home, I'll plant this tree in my garden. I hope to admire and cherish it and thank it properly for everything it will have done. I hope to spoil it with the feel of the Earth for all the joy and light and happiness that it has, and will continue, to bring into my life.

Happy holidays.
(and happy, happy, trees!)

Godspeed.
