We all have stories, these are mine. I tell them with a heart full of love and through eyes of kindness.

If You Never Read This

OSXS

I have folded so many thoughts
into the corners of my days—
creased them gently,
tucked them behind polite smiles,
convention talk,
weather updates,
and the silence
that says more than I ever can.

You’re the one
I trust could hold
all of it—
the storm and the stillness.
The part of me
that wrestles with God at midnight,
then worships Him at dawn.

You’d understand
that I speak to you
in pauses,
in prayers,
in the pages I write
that never say your name
but are entirely yours.
Like Sunrise Love—
It is of you and
not of you
All at once.

There is a truth
I cradle quietly:
I love you.

Not the way the world loves—
not with grasping hands
or stolen hours.
But with reverence.
With restraint.
With the ache of someone
who would rather burn
than cause your life to fracture.

I see your strength.
I know the dam you hold back.
And I will not be the weight
that cracks it open.

So I keep my devotion
where it can’t hurt you—
in poetry,
in prayer,
in the spaces between
touch and taboo.

If you ever felt
something flutter through you
in a quiet moment—
a warmth you couldn’t place,
a thought that made your breath
catch—
it might have been me,
sending love
you didn’t have to return.

And if you never read this—
still,
you were seen.
You were known.
And you were loved
so gently,
you never had to feel its cost.
