We all have stories, these are mine. I tell them with a heart full of love and through eyes of kindness.

lustfully yours

A poem to my wife

When we made love
Last night you felt
25 again, though I know
You would protest that

You were demure
And welcoming
And patient
As you came alive over

And over
And over

While you built
In me a dam
Of lust and
Passion just waiting

For the opportunity
to wreak havoc
and let fly the dogs of ardor
In the heat of rapture

And when you
Grasped me firm
And called me
A monster,

I, a beast,
White hairy belly
Feet like paws of a lion

Shining red face
Grapes as those of Canaan
Porcelain walls fighting to consume you

A mighty blue whale
Venting his discharge
With both force and volume

Beast, beast, beast
You cried,
And kissed me

As we lay entwined
Like two gnarled
Branches forever interlinked

You faded to
Darkness with the words
“What do you want for breakfast?”

And when we landed again
On planet earth
After our cosmic journey

This morning
We enjoyed
Tacos
And pleasant conversation

God,
I love you.
