Plastic Hero
A little lego superman
Stands upon my desk
Cape fixed heroically
In his hand, the morning’s
Headline declaring
World peace
This tiny fiction
No more true
Than his little blue suit
Plastic is a drug
Not for imbibing
But to stimulate the mind
Little yellow
Imaginary Man
No bigger than
My thumb
More powerful
Than a
Locomotive
Able to jump
Imagination
In a single bound
Faster
Than
Thought
words are our only real power
