Quit Worrying
The world is ending
Don’t you know?
What you doin’
With your time today.
Build castles in your mind
And libraries of memory,
Live your life
As you may.
I’ve told you for all my years
To make the most
Of what you had
Between your ears.
The gong has sounded,
The bell has rung,
The roaches are spreading
With the rising sun.
Why worry or panic,
Or fear, or dread?
The worst they can do
Is leave you dead.
Go forth with a smile,
Make the most of today.
Stop letting worry
Get in your way.
