Hectic day today. Packing up this morning to head to DFW for the weekend. Seeing Dear Evan Hanson at the Winspear Opera house, then tomorrow early day for Pioneer Day. Starts for me at 8 to help set up. Then dinner with some old friends and hopefully an early night because CA on Saturday starts even earlier: 6:30. :-o

Circuit and conventions always feel so stressful. Thinking I might take next summer off and just go as an attendee. I know that has its own stress. I read something in an old book a while ago about taking you and the kids with us to FW once. I noted your stress levels were pretty high... but you were hauling around three tiny humans, so understandable.

Hoping the theoretic weekend can break me out of a little funk I've slipped into the last few days. I think it's a combination of stress from knowing we're getting close to CA weekend, client work kind of went sideways a little bit and running behind schedule on a few things. So, I'll knuckle down and catch up. :–)

Her dad is still chugging along. He doesn't look great, but it appears that someone gave him the gift of a seasonal cold. Pretty dangerous for a guy like him. But he was smiles and thumbs up last night even though he was essentially slumped over sideways in his chair. Stay active, stay healthy. It won't stave off life in your 80's, but maybe it'll give a little margin of improvement.

Anyway. I'd better GET TO IT!
