In theology, apokatastasis (Greek: ἀποκατάστασις, /æpoʊkəˈtæstəsɪs/, also spelled apocatastasis) is the restoration of creation to a condition of perfection.
My apokatastasis prayer, at the end of intercession, before praying the rosary or entering into silent Centering Prayer:
I pray for the restoration of the whole world and every living being in it, visible and invisible;
That the blood you shed in your incarnation and crucifixion may permeate the ground of this world, to the very heart of all matter and being.
Penetrate us.
Transfigure us.
Glorify us, O Lord.
Restore your broken image in us: every creature, every power under heaven.
Raise us with you, in your resurrection and glorious ascension, to new life in your eternal kingdom.
Amen.
