Struggling to stay Catholic? You're not alone. Faith seeks wonder to flourish. I'll share it when it shows up.

In theology, apokatastasis (Greek: ἀποκατάστασις, /æpoʊkəˈtæstəsɪs/, also spelled apocatastasis) is the restoration of creation to a condition of perfection.

My apokatastasis prayer, at the end of intercession, before entering into silent Centering Prayer:

I pray for the restoration of the whole world and every living being in it, visible and invisible;

That the blood you shed in your incarnation and crucifixion may permeate the ground of this world, to the very heart of all matter and being.

Penetrate us.

Transfigure us.

Glorify us, O Lord: every creature, every power under heaven.

Restore your broken image in us and raise us with you, in your resurrection and glorious ascension, to new life in your eternal kingdom.

Amen.
