Monday 19/Feb/2024

Prayers, etc.:
• 04:30 – Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
• 06:00 – the Angelus
• 08:00 – Praying the Joyful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, followed by The Memorare.
• 12:00 – the Angelus
• 13:00 – Thought for today from Archbishop Lefebvre: Many people have the impression that, once they have gone to Mass on Sunday or done something religious during the week, it's over. But prayer needs to be a continuous interior attitude. For sure, we cannot spend all of our time praying; we have jobs to do. And yet we need to maintain that interior disposition, that spirit of interior adoration of God, which makes it so that we are entirely submitted to Him, totally in His hands, always desiring to do only His will.
• 18:00 – the Angelus
• 19:00 – The hour of Compline for tonight according to the Traditional Pre-Vatican II Divine Office, followed by Fr. Chad Rippberger's Prayer of Command to protect my family, my sons, my daughter and her family, my granddaughters and their families, my great grandchildren, and everyone for whom I have responsibility from any demonic activity. – And that followed by the Monday Prayers of the Association of the Auxilium Christianorum.

Diet:
• 05:30 – ½ pb&j sandwich, 1 banana
• 08:00 – cottage cheese and applesauce
• 10:30 – 1 peanut butter sandwich
• 13:15 – 2 bean&cheese breakfast tacos
• 18:00 – 1 meat roll

Chores, etc.:
• 04:45 – listen to local news talk radio
• 10:00 – call landlord re: kitchen sink
• 12:00 – spoke with plumber, he'll be here tomorrow morning
• 12:45 – watch old eps. of Wheel of Fortune
• 14:30 to 15:45 – yard work, mow ½ front lawn
• 16:00 – watch old game shows and follow news reports from various sources
• 18:00 – listen to the live radio broadcast of this evening's Virginia vs Virginia Tech college basketball game.
• 20:00 – the new ep of NCIS, S21, ep02

Chess:
• 16:30 – moved in all lichess, Scheming Mind, and Game Knot CC games. With plenty of time-cushion in all my ICCF games, work on them can wait for another day or so.
