Monday 2024-12-30

Prayers, etc.:
* 05:00 – Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
* 06:00 – praying The Angelus
* 07:35 – praying the Joyful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, followed by the Memorare
* 12:00 – praying The Angelus
* 12:10 – Readings from today's Mass include – Epistle: Titus 3:4-7 and Gospel: Luke 2:15-20.
* 12:30 – Thought for today from Archbishop Lefebvre: Charity, which casts a certain amount of light on the Holy Trinity, also casts light on Christ. Charity is the whole mission of Christ on earth.

Why did God the Father send His Son to earth? Why did He ask the Word to become incarnate? It was to redeem us, certainly – that is the first motive; but it was also to make Himself known to us in a more direct manner, more attainable by the senses, more adapted to us. Our Redemption happened through the Incarnation of the Word so that we might better know God and the road we have to follow in order to return to Him. Therefore we cannot imagine a more perfect human image of God than our Lord Jesus Christ.
* 18:00 – praying The Angelus
* 18:30 – prayerfully reading The Athanasian Creed, followed by today's Daily Meditation found in Benedictus Magazine.
* 19:00 – praying the hour of Compline for tonight according to the Traditional Pre-Vatican II Divine Office, followed by Fr. Chad Ripperger's Prayer of Command to protect my family, my sons, my daughter and her family, my granddaughters and their families, my great grandchildren, and everyone for whom I have responsibility from any demonic activity. – And that followed by the Sunday Prayers of the Association of the Auxilium Christianorum.

Diet:
* 06:00 – cottage cheese and applesauce
* 07:45 – 1 bologna & cheese sandwich
* 11:20 – 3 poached eggs
* 13:00 – 1 bottle of Boost Max Protein Glucose Control
* 16:00 – snack on cheese

Chores, etc.:
* 05:00 – listen to local news talk radio
* 07:15 – bank accounts activity monitored
* 11:50 – tuned into the radio station carrying my 1st college basketball game of the day, Princeton Tigers vs Akron Zips
* 13:30 – start my weekly laundry
* 14:30 – moving through the rest of the day tending to normal chores and reading

Chess:
* 11:45 – moved in all pending CC games, registered 1 win at lichess and started one new game there
