The battle against God started in Heaven with the bad angels. And then Satan drew men into disobedience, as well. They passed over to the devil's camp. And our Lord brought us into His camp through baptism. So at our baptism we became soldiers of our Lord. Yes, we have to struggle against the powers of hell and against their every appearance in the world.
