Puff sleeves fashion

Puffed sleeves have been making a huge comeback over the past years! There are so many variations on this sleeve to choose from—from big puffs with

lacy, sheer, satin, or organza beautifully designed gorgeous puff sleeves, smocked square shape back, and elasticated sleeves on the shoulders and cuffs, this easy-to-wear dreamy outfit is trans seasonal.

Here’s how to wear chic puff sleeves outfits with certain body types.

Slim bodies get to wear anything and everything with puff sleeves.

Wear puff sleeves if you have an hourglass body and you want to emphasize your waist even more. Puff sleeves or epaulets to emphasize your shoulders are great.

Avoid boxy and straight coat styles – such as empire line and drop waistcoats, as they hide your natural waistline (unless they can be belted in). You can either wear a custom-made dress with puff sleeves for your weekend events or rock it with pencil trousers.

If you have an inverted triangle body shape, choose tops or blouses with subtle puff sleeves or darts and combine them with looser bottoms, such as flared trousers. Avoid wearing anything with a maxi puff, cap sleeves, or shoulder pads as these will visually broaden rather than minimize your shoulders.

Offset your upper body with volume below: wide-leg pants; fuller skirts. Look for details that draw the eye up and down, not across-vee or scoop necks, vertical embellishments, long scarves, and necklaces. Choose soft shoulders, raglan sleeves, halters-anything that isn't crisp and squared-off.

Abortion has always been a controversial issue and many argue on religious grounds that what God created should not be killed. PNDC law 102 of 1985 made abortion legal on condition that the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest or endangers the life of the mother. The situation on the ground is different and some private clinics will register an abortion case as abdominal pain. Some go further and abort up to 9 months into the pregnancy. You read that right. Money talks and some will do anything to avoid the shame cast over their daughter and the family, and some will do anything for money, anything indeed. Many women have argued that they are boss in their own belly, and many countries now have legalized abortion, though typically it should be done as early as possible. The US was one of them and legalized things in 1973. To last year turn the clock back 49 years and make it illegal again. (Some states have, some have not, one should maybe talk about the Ununited States rather than the United States). Where the original anti-abortion arguments were based on religion, now abortion has become a political issue. So should someone else decide over your fate because he wants to become president? In case you are in a situation where one day you may want an abortion, better inform yourself about the law and its applications there where you live.

Places to hunt future husbands. Not at your (small) workplace, unless you or he are prepared to leave the job, marrying a colleague may be fun but could easily confuse the relationships in the workplace. For many Ghanaians the first place to scout for a future partner is church. Not a bad idea, if you both attend the same calling already that potential area of disagreement is out of the way. Other places are weddings, courses you follow, (sport) clubs and gyms (you have a bit of time to study the person), supermarkets, musea, events, and anywhere people visit. In case you have a bit more time to study the person, maybe you noticed that someone was studying you as well, but when you looked at him he quickly looked away. This shy person could be the ideal target, you can take the lead, and even in the bedroom-you can take the lead rather than him testing the big bang theory on you. If you are lucky he is trainable and you can get that part of a relationship to be satisfying. I'll talk about this issue later. But if it is just an encounter? Apply what I said earlier, just leave your phone number and see what happens. Don't be shy doing this, girls look for boys and boys look for girls, so just go ahead and see how you end up. You may be shy in the beginning, but everything can be learned.

Never say die? There's a saying that musicians never die, meaning that music by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and some others is still relevant centuries after their deaths. Maybe the same will happen to our own Dr. James Edward Nketia (who passed away 4 years ago at age 97). We could add other artists, like painters, maybe van Gogh, Picasso, or Rembrandt, or our Professor Glover and Delaquis, or sculptors like Rodin and Vincent Kofi and Saka Acquaye. And I suggest we add perfumes, for example, Chanel No 5, created in 1921 for couturier Mlle (miss, she never married) Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel by French-Russian chemist and perfumer Ernest Beaux

Chanel Nr 5 is an absolute classic and one of the few perfumes which are sold as perfume, rather than as Eau de Parfum, which is diluted perfume, sometimes by a factor of 10. The perfume price is accordingly. Careful, some perfumes stain.
Anyway, I was lucky to receive a bottle of No 5 for my birthday, classic and thoughtful.

Full moon will be coming Monday, so you can already enjoy it this weekend, but the rainy season is not fully over yet. Luckily this year we have been spared major and destructive floods.
