① The pretreatment stage removes suspended solids, residual chlorine, and calcium and magnesium ions from the raw water through activated carbon adsorption and softening. This prevents membrane element scaling and clogging.

② A high-pressure pump applies pressure of 1.5-10 atmospheres, forcing water to permeate the reverse osmosis membrane.

③ In the core membrane separation stage, the polyamide composite membrane with a pore size of only 0.0001 micrometers allows only water molecules to pass through, achieving a desalination rate of 95%-99%.

④ Post-treatment, through processes such as ultraviolet disinfection and pH adjustment, ensures that the produced water meets specific industrial requirements.
