Walk With A Lover: Part I

For me, it’s always the nicest part.

There’s a quiet choreography to this, how your steps sync unconsciously.

It’s a rhythm that pulls you into a world you didn’t know you were capable of inhabiting, a primal and electric alignment of some sort.

Guided by a shared moon, your bodies share secrets with one another. Secrets your mind doesn’t fully understand yet.

As you keep walking, the world bends to this rhythm. The faint echo of a street musician drifts into the air, their song swelling in time with your stride. The distant laughter of strangers harmonizes into a background symphony that only accentuates your focus on them.

Each step is an unraveling, and the world slips away, leaving only the warmth of their nearness behind.

If you stopped now, if you turned to face them, you don’t know what would happen, but the thought alone is enough.

You could keep walking forever.
