About❔
Hey there, my name is Dino Bansigan. Welcome to my software development blog.
I have a number of reasons for maintaining a software development blog. The following two reasons though are the most relevant to me right now:
- First, I created this blog to share what I've learned while working as a software developer.
- Second, I use this blog to reinforce what I've learned by trying to teach it to someone else.
So, on this blog I share my thoughts, ideas and notes on software development based on my experience as a software developer. My aim is to keep my blog posts short and simple. They should not take more than 10 minutes to read and the reader should be able to learn something from it.
Note:
This is already version 2 of my dev blog. I've archived the first one, which you can find here. I got the idea for archiving and versioning websites from Chris Krycho.
Update 2022-12-05:
I took down the earlier version of my dev blog mentioned above because it was splitting traffic between this blog and that one. So, that blog no longer exists. If you try to navigate to it, you'll get redirected to this blog.
About Me
I am a .NET Software Developer/Team Lead currently working for a financial company. I enjoy working with .NET, C# and SQL Server. I love writing code that talks to the database and vice versa.
Currently, I've been trying to learn more web development technologies. Specifically, I'm trying to shore up my JavaScript skills and learn more about ReactJS. In my spare time, I also like to play around with Blazor.
Elsewhere on the web
- Dino's Journal – personal blog/journal covering various topics not entirely related to software development.
- Now Listening to... – a music blog where I share music that I’m listening to right now.
Stuff I've Made
- Dino's Web Apps – A web app I built with Blazor WASM meant to help me learn Blazor. It has a number of utility apps that demonstrate what you can do with Blazor.
- WriteAs.NET – An unofficial .NET Core client for the Write.as API written in C#.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful day!
