Poziv na razmenu u Boru / Call for Exchange in Bor

Zadruga vizuelnih umetnika [u nastajanju] u saradnji sa Narodnom bibliotekom Bor, poziva sve koji deluju u polju savremene vizuelne umetnosti [bez obzira na obrazovanje, titule, biografije i druge zanose] da se odazovu pozivu za zajedničku izožbu i aukciju koja će biti realizovana u Galeriji Biblioteke, od 9. do 26. decembra ove godine.
Okupićemo se da razmenimo umetnost, ideje, dileme, konkretne predloge, skice i pitanja. Da zajedno zamislimo kako bi umetnički rad mogao da funkcioniše kad nije zakucan za tržišnu cenu, već ulazi u razmenu sa lokalnom zajednicom – za znanje, za trud, za pažnju, za nešto neočekivano:
Pet časova auto-škole za serigrafiju A3 formata.
Vikend čuvanja bake u zamenu za video-instalaciju.
Šest litara domaće rakije i tura zimnice za keramičku skulpturu.
Pomoć u renoviranju stana u zamenu za svetleći objekat.
Serija onlajn psihološke terapije za ulje na platnu.
Aranžman cveća za stan u zamenu za umetničku fotografiju.
Pozivamo umetnike i umetnice da predlože po jedan rad procenjene vrednosti do 200 evra, u bilo kom mediju koji se može izložiti i ponuditi na razmenu: crtež, slika, objekat, štampa, fotografija, video, keramika…
Svi radovi biće deo otvorenog procesa razmene, a nakon zatvaranja događaja okupljamo se u Boru, 26-28. decembra, gde učesnici/e donose odluku koje ponude prihvataju i sa kim žele da uđu u dalju razmenu.
Za umetnike/ce van Bora, biće obezbeđeni putni troškovi i smeštaj.
Rok za prijave je do 1. decembra, putem formulara.
Upoznajemo se, družimo, razgovaramo, zapisujemo, razmišljamo naglas i tako skiciramo zadrugu vizuelnih umetnika koju osnivamo uskoro!

Call for Exchange in Bor
[what art can be when it’s not obliged to be anything]
The Visual Artists’ Cooperative [in formation], in collaboration with the National Library of Bor, invites everyone active in the field of contemporary visual art [regardless of education, titles, biographies, or other fascinations] to respond to the open call for a collective exhibition and auction, to be held at the Library Gallery from December 9 to 26 of this year.
We will gather to exchange art, ideas, dilemmas, concrete proposals, sketches, and questions. To imagine together how artistic work might function when it’s not fixed to a market price, but instead enters an exchange with the local community — for knowledge, for effort, for attention, for something unexpected:
Five driving lessons for a silkscreen print in A3 format.
A weekend of caring for a grandmother in exchange for a video installation.
Six liters of homemade rakija and a batch of preserved food for a ceramic sculpture.
Help with apartment renovation in exchange for a light object.
A series of online psychotherapy sessions for an oil painting.
A flower arrangement for the apartment in exchange for an art photograph.
We invite artists to propose one work, estimated at a value of up to 200 euros, in any medium that can be exhibited and offered for exchange: drawing, painting, object, print, photograph, video, ceramics…
All works will be part of an open process of exchange, and after the event closes, we will gather in Bor, from December 26 to 28, where participants will decide which offers to accept and with whom to continue the exchange.
For artists coming from outside Bor, travel expenses and accommodation will be provided.
The deadline for applications is December 1, via the online form.
We will meet, spend time together, talk, write things down, think out loud — and in doing so, sketch out the Visual Artists’ Cooperative we are about to establish!
