Shared Visions

One of the main activities in Shared Visions is the Radionica event series. Radionice are multi-day workshops, designed to introduce the idea of an international artists’ cooperative to a wider circle of artists, build a base membership, and shape the cooperative together based on existing needs. This post contains an overview of all Radionica workshops, with links to the programs and reports.

Radionica 1: 6-9 June 2025, at Fond92, Belgrade

This workshop included an explanation of the proposed cooperative structure and discussions about the cooperative sources of income both for individual members and for the enterprise as a whole, its democratic governance, collaborative approaches to engagement between members, pooling resources, creating funds as joint endowment for means of production, education, and solidarity, and more.

As an online component of the program, Julio Linares gave the lecture ‘CIRCLES: Crypto-economics, UBI and Demurrage’, about his experience as co-founder of CIRCLES co-op in Berlin.

Radionica 2: 27-30 June 2025, at BASOC, Banja Luka

In this workshop, we have started building connections in the region with BASOC and DKC Incel from Banja Luka. Based on shared interests, a working group was founded to make The “PROBLEM” Hyper-Fanzine – a publication made collectively by the coop, from content production and graphic designing to crowdfunding and printing.

As an online addition to the program, Shared Visions members Alessandro Y. Longo and Radisav Stijović reported on their experiences during the ‘Funding the Commons’ conference in Berlin.

Radionica 3: ‘Mutuogenesis – Lucky Land Coop’, 10-12 July 2025, Berlin

Co-organised by Shared Visions and Mutuogenesis (a radical living social sculpture and collective workshop, nightclub and performance space by Jerszy Seymour),the Lucky Land Coop Radionica was a radical speculation on land, property, crypto and cooperative imagination; two public gatherings in Berlin and online to prototype tools for mutualism, cooperative economies and collective land use.

Radionica 4: 17-19 October 2025

Radionica 5: ‘(This Is Not An) Open Call’, 19-22 September 2025, at SULUV, Novi Sad

Radionica #5 focused on the existing projects and programs that participants brought with them, using them as a base for experimenting with participatory funding. Artists representing five ongoing practices that are expected to become part of the cooperative’s activities (Club Podzemljica from Kragujevac, KC Radionica and Artist in the Local Community / Oaze 2.0 from Belgrade, Urban Sketchers Novi Sad, and Vishni Residency from Struga) used the quadratic voting method to allocate a shared seed fund.
