Cultivating a creation brought to you from the darkest corners of your mind, the lies, the sinister, the regret, the unholy, the gory, the wild, the raw.

Lovingly.

It’s whenever we find someone that makes us feel whole,
Whole with only those halves of ourselves that we bury deep into the messy,
Gory bits of our chests,
Those part of our identity we keep hidden for only ourselves,
Those half's of our inner selves that we bind with another's halves to make whole,
It is then that we've found that we are truly complete,
Two halves that are halving each other in half to create one single whole,
As you sit there in self proclaimed bliss,
You reminisce to a more innocent time,
The cups perfectly aligned,
My eyes focussed intently against the wisdom's you replenish our home with,
Not knowing at such a tender age,
That its nothing but a pretty mask you wear to shelter your incompetence,
From the mundane day to day activities you do to convince yourself that you're okay with this life that you've created for yourself,
The warm cookies lay flattened on the pan,
Fresh lemons chopped,
Grinding the zest off of them,
Ripping the flesh out of the yellow shell,
A time-consuming hobby you use to fill up the empty space,
To shelter yourself from your inner demons,
The thoughts that exasperates you day in and night out,
This inexplicable,
Unescapable,
Need,
To be anything but ordinary.
